Illustration Idea/Concept/Thematic Statement: I will be creating a narrative illustration to the classic nursery rhyme of "Georgie Porgie." It will consist of 6 sequential pages that will make an accordion fold book.

Style: Precious moments/hummel figurine style. Olden day feel. Lungers Hausen feel.
Location: Swiss hills

For this assignment, I have used inspiration from hummel and precious moments figurines. Other than those, another illustrator I have gained big inspiration from is Ilse Wende-Lungershausen, other wise known just as Lungers Hausen. She is a German illustrator that was born in 1900. She worked in the early to mid 1900's. She mostly illustrated with watercolor. Her style is very inspiring to me. I have always been a fan of that style, so when I found her at the start of my project, I was very excited to use her work as reference. It is a very cute, kid like style. It is very inspiring to me. Here are some examples of her work.
